Connecting port, rail, and final delivery
Through our in-house road department and dedicated truck fleet, we provide transport solutions for container, steel, and general cargo with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and flexibility. Our road operations form the backbone of our transport services, while selected external partners are engaged when volumes or operational demands require additional capacity.
Distribution of cargo
Our road operations are planned with a port-centric approach, where transport related to quay, terminal, and intermodal activities forms the operational core. From this base, capacity is allocated to regional and international road transport as required.
We regularly handle cargo collected outside Denmark for onward transport via the Port of Fredericia, supporting efficient multimodal supply chains. The location offers direct access to rail connections, the E45 motorway as the main north–south corridor through Europe, and the Port of Fredericia as a central logistics hub.
Fleet & Capacity
Our road operations are supported by a modern and well-maintained fleet consisting of approximately 30 EURO 6 trucks, operated primarily by Danish-employed drivers. The fleet is configured to support container, steel, and general cargo, ensuring flexibility across different transport requirements.
In late 2025, the fleet was expanded with two Mercedes-Benz Actros e600 electric trucks. This investment is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact and improve working conditions, including lower noise levels and enhanced driving comfort.
To support container transport, we operate our own fleet of chassis, including sideloaders, tip chassis, and generator chassis (genset).
Operations & Integration
All road transport solutions are developed in close cooperation with our Bulk/Shipping, Steel, and Container activities. We operate on a one-stop booking principle with a single point of contact, ensuring efficient coordination across services.
We support both internal logistics activities and external customers across industries such as bulk, steel, containerised cargo, and general freight.
Compliance & systems
We are certified for the transportation of foodstuffs, waste, and feedstuffs. Safety, compliance, and documentation are integral parts of our daily operations, ensuring consistent quality and full traceability throughout the transport chain.
Our road services are supported by digital solutions including track & trace, warehousing, and stock control, enabling transparency and efficient handling across the full logistics flow.
