Fredericia Container Terminal
Strategically positioned in the heart of Denmark
Fredericia Container Terminal represents a strategic cooperation between Fredericia Shipping, APM Terminals and ADP, combining local operational presence with international terminal expertise.
The partnership supports the continued development of container traffic at the Port of Fredericia and strengthens the region’s position as an important logistics hub for feeder services and cargo distribution.
Infrastructure designed for future growth
With the recent expansion of the container terminal in Fredericia, completed in October 2025, Fredericia Container Terminal is well positioned to support future growth.
The terminal now comprises 200,000 m² of operational area — including 150,000 m² with 485 metres of deep-water quay in Fredericia and an additional 50,000 m² at the rail-connected terminal in Taulov. Together, these facilities provide the physical capacity and flexibility required to support growing container volumes and increasingly complex logistics flows with a capacity of up to 400,000 TEU in total.

operational performance at scale
Operational efficiency is central to maintaining reliable terminal performance as container volumes increase.
In 2025, Fredericia Container Terminal reached a new milestone with 165,008 TEU handled over quay.
The figures below present weekly processing times and container volumes, highlighting consistent performance even during peak periods.
